Weekly Newsletter – Monday 12th September 2022

Dear Parent/Carer,

It is with sadness that the school marks the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Please see the newsletter below explaining how we’ve explained this sad event to the children and celebrated the Queen’s reign and her importance to her family and the country.

The newsletter also contains information about Welsh courses, our coffee morning tomorrow for adult learning and the dates of the ‘Meet the Teacher’ events.

Kind regards

Nurture course for Parents

We’ve linked up with Donna from Team Around the Family to provide training for parents and carers of pupils in our school on managing lots of areas of parenting. We’ve got space for up to 10 families to take part in the programme.

It’s a ten week programme which will take place on a Wednesday afternoon from 12.30 to 3.00 pm starting on Wednesday 28th of September in our Parent Room on the Herbert Road site. Unfortunately there won’t be a creche facility available for the sessions, but school age children will be in school with us during the hours of the course.

If you’re interested in taking part, please ring us to let us know or email us at melinprimary@npt.school

Thank you!
