At Melin Primary School we believe that the emotional wellbeing of the child, developed through a curriculum based on activity and experience, is at the heart of learning.

We have high expectations that encourage good habits, promote ambition and positive attitudes to learning. This will enable our children to grow to be literate, numerate, digitally competent and independent life-long learners. They will be happy, healthy, safe and contribute creatively and ethically to our community, Wales and the world.

We work together with the adults in our children’s lives to ensure that they are safe, happy and are empowered to make a change in their lives.

Why not take a look at our latest Estyn report if you’re considering placing your child in our School? Click here to read it in full. Or, for more information about the school from the ‘My Local School’ site, click here.
